Don’t be intimidated by the name – Atlanta Ballet offers a wide range of dance classes for children and adults, including tap. For adults, there are options to either pay as you go or to purchase 10-class cards or unlimited passes, depending on how often you plan on taking class. There are discounts for students and seniors as well. There is no official dress code for adult classes, just be comfortable and have fun! All levels are welcome at the adult tap classes.

The Dancer’s Studio is a great place to get solid instruction and have fun learning how to dance. They offer two types of tap instruction – rhythm or jazz tap and Broadway tap. If you’re going for more of a Rockette-style jam, check out the Broadway style, but if you’re a traditional tapper, sign up for rhythm. There is a dress code for children and adult students.

The Studio Atlanta Dance has two locations, one in Buckhead and one in Alpharetta, both offering a range of dance classes, including tap. The classes are offered for children and teenagers, at different levels depending upon experience. There are different payment options, and students typically register for either the school year or the summer sessions. There are also summer camp options with various musical themes.

This studio is a great place for adults of all skill levels to get together and shake off some stress. There are classes in many different types of dance, including tap. Students can pay by class or purchase 5, 10 or 20 class cards. The first class is only $7, so give it a try! The owner and instructors are especially keyed in to making sure that adults feel comfortable and have a great time.

Dan & Company has been one of the most fun dance schools in Atlanta for over 45 years, so you know that your teachers will be experienced and knowledgeable. The dress code is a black leotard, pink or tan tights, and tan tap shoes. The studio is conveniently located in Dunwoody Village with plenty of parking, and there are quite a few shops and restaurants around so you can drop the kids off at class and easily find somewhere to hang out for an hour. There are beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels of classes for children.
