Tax day or April 15 has became a pseudo-holiday and a great night to go out and celebrate the fact that tax day has come and gone. It doesn’t matter if you filed an extension or you ended up writing a big check to the IRS. Tax season is over and if you need to blow off some steam, these fine Atlanta establishments are happy to oblige. Note that this is also a big day for tax preparers and CPAs to celebrate, so if you see your favorite tax preparer or accountant, make sure to buy them a drink.

Manuel’s Tavern
602 North Highland Ave.
Atlanta, GA 30307

www.manuelstavern.com

Atlanta’s Manuel’s Tavern is an institution and it’s only fitting that you would come out and hang at a place where many of the lawmakers that create those tax laws come to unwind. Manuel’s is a longtime favorite of political types and it’s for good reason. The drinks are cold, the food is good and you just need to come out and see “the regulars” as they discuss the problems of the day and the political landscape. If you are in the mood for a burger, Manuel’s has a great one.
