Suspected Skimming Device Found at Gas Station in the City of SarasotaSarasota Police officers were called to the gas station after an inspection service employee who was checking the pumps found the suspected skimming device inside pump #11.  The pump was last inspected on June 11, 2020.
ARREST: Thomas Jefferson & Javier Vargas Caught Climbing Construction CraneSeveral officers with the Sarasota Police Department responded after a security operator called to report the two men were on the ladder of the crane.  The security operator had issued multiple trespass warnings to both the men over the PA system with negative results.  The construction site has clearly marked signs around the property stating no trespassing.
