Cockfighting Ring Shut Down In Midville, GA: 178 People Facing Possible ChargesAs a result of raids conducted in December 2019, and most recently on June 22, 2020, a total of more than 200 people could face felony or misdemeanor charges for their involvement in cockfighting rings, according to the United States Attorney's Office in the Southern District of Georgia. Authorities said that number includes 178 people who were in attendance during the latest raid.
