GREENVILLE, S.C. (CW69 News at 10) – The Atlanta Gladiators downed the Greenville Swamp Rabbits 3-2 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville on Sunday afternoon to pick up their fourth straight win.

Tim Davison and Gabe Guertler both landed goals, and Kameron Kielly landed the game-winner for Atlanta to allow the Gladiators to sweep the series against the Swamp Rabbits.

Greenville opened the game late in the first period when Brett Kemp scored on a between-the-legs goal. The Gladiators were able to even the game at 1-1 early in the second period on a Tim Davison goal past Greenville goalie Evan Fitzpatrick.

The Swamp Rabbits took a 2-1 lead midway through the second period after Anothony Rinaldi found the net. The Gladiators were able to capitalize on a power play when Game Guertler picked up a goal from the low slot.

Kameron Kielly grabbed the game-winner for the Gladiators midway through the third period after skating in from the right-wing and sneaking it past Fitzpatrick.

Atlanta goaltender Chris Nell finished his afternoon with 33 saves on 35 shots for Atlanta.

The Gladiators take the ice again on Wednesday evening in Cincinnati against the Cyclones at 7:35 pm.
