September 1, 2021 – The City of Dunwoody invites volunteers to
participate in the #GreatDunwoodyCleanup on October 16. This is the second year for
the event, which is designed to make it easy for individuals, families, neighbors, teams,
or civic groups to help keep Dunwoody beautiful by picking up trash and clearing debris from storm drains.

“We started this last year as an alternative to our annual stream cleanup and had such
strong participation that we wanted to do it again,” said Dunwoody Stormwater Manager Carl Thomas. “The #GreatDunwoodyCleanup gives everyone in the community a role to play in protecting our environment.”

Choose a spot in Dunwoody. It can be a street, stream, neighborhood common
area, or wooded area.  Fill out an online form to share their plans with Dunwoody’s stormwater team.  Post photos of their progress on Oct. 16 using the hashtag
