(CW69 News at 10)– On January 27, Gwinnett Cares will host its third virtual healthcare summit in partnership with Rotary District 6910.

This will be the third online summit since the outbreak of the pandemic. The event will provide the community with information that people can use to navigate the complications and difficulties of COVID-19. The topics that will be included in this discussion will include latest in testing efforts, hospital capacity, vaccination distribution plans, how to care for yourself during COVID-19, and more. The summit will provide people with the most recent and accurate healthcare protocols and community resources available.

Guests scheduled to speak at the summit include Dr. Kathleen Toomey, Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Public Health, Dr. Clifford McDonald, Senior Advisory for Science & Integrity, Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion at the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, Dr. Audrey Arona, District Health Director at Gwinnett Newton Rockdale Health Departments, and  Dr. Carlton Buchanan, Medical Director, Emergency Medicine at Northside Gwinnett.
