Alamo, Ga (CW69 News at 10) – In multiple releases, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation says on Sunday, May 24, 2020, at approximately 2:10 a.m., the Alamo Police Department requested the GBI Eastman office to conduct an investigation into a shooting that occurred on Bluebird Lane in Alamo, Wheeler County, GA.

A large party was held at the residence of 4 Bluebird Lane to celebrate a high school graduation. While at the party, multiple individuals exchanged gunfire. Ronesta Kotoya Williams, 42, of Alamo, was shot and killed during this incident.

Two other individuals were shot during this incident. Michael Waddell, 26, of McRae, is listed in critical condition and India Harris, 18, of Alamo, received a non-life threatening gunshot wound and received medical treatment.

On Wednesday, May 27, 2020, the following individuals were arrested in connection with this investigation.

  • Turner Logan Flint, age 20, of McRae-Helena, Georgia
  • Jaquaves Hooks, age 25, of Alamo, Georgia
  • Cory McRae, age 21, of McRae-Helena, Georgia

All three individuals have been charged with Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault (4 counts each), and Violation of Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act (2 counts each). Flint, Hooks, and McRae were all arrested without incident and booked into the Wheeler County Jail.
