ATLANTA, Ga. (CW69 News at 10) — Updated on May 21, 2020 — After weeks of not having enough coronavirus (COVID-19) testing kits both locally and nationally, thousands are now available here in the Atlanta area. Now, officials are hoping the public will put them to use.

If you believe you have COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has had the virus, below are some places you can get tested.

  • GSU/Old Turner Field and Greenbriar Mall – Both sites are managed by Georgia National Guard and Augusta University Health. Patients are required to complete free virtual testing using the AU Health ExpressCare app on Apple or Android through the website or by calling 706-721-1842.
  • Georgia Tech – Managed by CVS; Click here to register in advance for an estimated 30 minute testing process.
  • Mercedes Benz Stadium – Home Depot Backyard – Managed by the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and CORE. Register here.
  • CVS Testing Sites — On May 21, 2020, Governor Brian Kemp announced CVS Health has opened up 23 more testing sites in Georgia at CVS Pharmacy drive-through locations, with several of them located in the Atlanta area. Click here for a full list of the participating locations.
