GRIFFIN, Ga. (AP) — Authorities say five people have been arrested on two drug busts in Spalding County.
The Spalding County Sheriff’s Office told WXIA-TV on Sunday that three people were arrested over the weekend during the first drug bust including Kuanell Dallas, Maurice Newton and Latoncha Starks. Dallas, Newton and Starks are facing several charges including possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.READ MORE: Ponzi Scheme Operator Sentenced To Prison For Multi-Million Dollar Concert Fraud

No injuries were reported during the arrests.
