ATLANTA (AP) —Police say two people were shot and one person was stabbed outside a popular Atlanta recording studio.
Atlanta police Capt. Andrew Senzer tells news outlets the victims were leaving Patchwerk Recording Studio around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday when they were ambushed by three armed suspects in a secured area behind the building.
Two men were shot multiple times in the legs, and a third was stabbed in the hand.
The men were hospitalized with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. They have not been identified.
Police are searching for the suspects. No potential identifications have been released.
Patchwerk’s website features an extensive list of projects that were recorded, mixed or mastered at the studio for high-profile clients such as Mariah Carey, Ludacris, Britney Spears, Rick Ross and John Legend.
