Newly Elected Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms Says Atlanta Owes Rashad Richey A Debt Of Gratitude

New Atlanta Mayor-Elect Keisha Lance-Bottoms dropped by Real Talk with Rashad Richey just hours after she claimed victory in the Atlanta mayor’s race. Even though she was operating on pure adrenalin and only one hour of sleep, she thought it important to address the Real Talk audience and thank them for showing up for her. In a moment that sent chills through Rashad Richey, the Mayor-Elect paused to say that the City of Atlanta owes Richey a debt of gratitude for him raising the consciousness of voters in this election. During the campaign Richey moderated multiple mayoral debates which raised issues that proved to be pivotal moments and for many, a deciding factor in the election.
