Head coach Mike Budenholzer checks in on The Midday Show with Rick and John to talk about the Atlanta Hawks rough start to the 2017 season.

Coach Bud talked about the effort of the Hawks Wednesday and gave them credit for fighting back only to lose by 10. He told us he hasn’t changed the mantra of the team and what he tells the players.

Budenholzer talked about the shot selection of Dennis Schroder and how there is a lot of pressure on his shoulders to perform and carry the team. He also talked about the fine line of taking the tough shot and taking the right shot and how he and Schroder have sat down and talked about what he expects.

Then Budenholzer explained the difficulties they will face when playing the Houston Rockets and James Harden and what they will need to do to compete. He mentioned he was impressed seeing Ben Simmons in person and described what he saw from him on the court.
