With a convincing win over the Green Bay Packers, the Atlanta Falcons slid into the top spot on our 92-9 the Game Week 2 NFL Power Rankings.

  1. Atlanta Falcons (2-0) The Falcons’ offense is slowly starting to find a groove. Atlanta’s defense is flying all over the field causing havoc and starting to create turnovers. So much for that Super Bowl hangover.
  2. Kansas City Chiefs (2-0) Kareem Hunt has been a pleasant surprise so far this season. With him the Chiefs look like a Super Bowl contender. K.C. takes go to L.A. to face the Chargers next.
  3. Oakland Raiders (2-0) The Raiders’ offense is on point and not turning the ball over. They appear to be back on track like they were before Derek Carr was injured in the playoffs last season.
  4. Detroit Lions (2-0) Detroit’s defense is balling and taking the rock away from opponents. Matthew Stafford has thrown six touchdowns in the first two games this season.
  5. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0) Big Ben and Antonio Brown are carrying the team while Le’Veon Bell is getting back in rhythm. Can the Steelers stay undefeated after a trip to Chicago?
  6. Carolina Panthers (2-0) The Panthers only needed nine points to beat the Buffalo Bills as their defense has yet to allow a touchdown this season. They will need more to beat the New Orleans Saints.
  7. Baltimore Ravens (2-0) The Ravens made the Cleveland Browns look like the Cleveland Browns. Let’s see how the make the Jacksonville Jaguars look.
  8. Denver Broncos (2-0) Trevor Siemian has been a pleasant surprise in these first couple of games. The Broncos defense made the Dallas Cowboys look like a bottom of the barrel team and next they go to Buffalo.
  9. New England Patriots (1-1) The Patriots bounced back in a major way against New Orleans. New England is trying to find their way back into Super Bowl form.
  10. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-0) The Bucs defense looked good against Chicago in their first game this season. The Jameis Winston to Mike Evans connection is one to look out for this season.
  11. Miami Dolphins (1-0) Jay Cutler and Jay Ajayi led the Dolphins in their first game of the season. They go to New York to face the Jets next season.
  12. Seattle Seahawks (1-1) Seattle’s offense is struggling and Russell Wilson is on the run. They will try to get back on track in Tennessee this week.
  13. Tennessee Titans (1-1) The Titans dominated the Jaguars in the second half last week. It won’t be so easy this week against Seattle.
  14. Washington Redskins (1-1) QB Kirk Cousins led a game winning drive to help defeat the Rams. They ran all over L.A., can they do the same against the Raiders?
  15. Arizona Cardinals (1-1) The Cardinals needed a late rally and an interception in overtime from Tyrann Mathieu to defeat the Indianapolis Colts.
  16. Green Bay Packers (1-1) The Packers suffered a tough loss against Atlanta, they also lost one of Aaron Rogers’ favorite target in Jordy Nelson. Let’s watch how Green Bay bounce back against Cincinnati.
  17. Dallas Cowboys (1-1) Dak, Zeke and the ‘Boys looked terrible against Denver. They will have to get it together in front of the country against a tough Cardinals defense on Monday night.
  18. Philadelphia Eagles (1-1) The Eagles D looks strong early this season and Carson Wentz is on a roll. They have a division game this week versus the New York Giants.
  19. Minnesota Vikings (1-1) The Vikings lost to the Steelers without quarterback Sam Bradford. They will need to get the offense out of the mud and find a spark when they face Tampa Bay this week.
  20. Houston Texans (1-1) Young QB Deshaun Watson impressed in his first start and win against the Bengals, but he is going to lead the Texans to more than 13 points to defeat the Patriots.
  21. A. Rams (1-1) The Rams need some consistency as their stars Todd Gurley and Jared Goff begin to blossom. It will be an interesting game this week in San Francisco.
  22. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1) Jacksonville is building and they have a running back in Leonard Fournette. They need to find a quarterback and they probably won’t find him in London against the Ravens.
  23. Buffalo Bills (1-1) The defense is the strength of the Bills. The offense is going to have to step up to beat the Denver Broncos.
  24. Los Angeles Chargers (0-2) The Chargers continue to lose the close games. Let’s see if they can break the cycle against the Kansas City Chiefs.
  25. New York Giants (0-2) The Giants need offensive line help to run the ball and keep Eli Manning standing up.
  26. New Orleans Saints (0-2) The Saints defense is terrible. They don’t run the football. It sounds like a long year in the Big Easy.
  27. Chicago Bears (0-2) After losing to Tampa Bay, will the Bears begin to look at trying out rookie QB Mitchell Trubisky? I would not advise it this week as the face the Pittsburgh Steelers.
  28. Cincinnati Bengals (0-2) After losing the first two games and not scoring a TD, the Bengals fire their offensive coordinator. They’ll need all the help they can get as the go to Green Bay.
  29. Cleveland Browns (0-2) The Browns faced two tough opponents so far but they will have a chance for a win coming up as they have the Colts, the Bengals and the Jets on the schedule.
  30. Indianapolis Colts (0-2) It seems that there’s little hope in Indy without Andrew Luck. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett provided a spark against Arizona but not enough to get the win.
  31. San Francisco 49ers (0-2) The 49ers have yet to score an offensive touchdown. Running back Carlos Hyde was a positive against Seattle but balance will be needed to beat the Rams on a short week.
  32. New York Jets (0-2) The Jets look horrible on offense and the Raiders made their defense look even worse. The Jets will need to get some pressure on Jay Cutler if they want a chance to beat Miami.
