Falcons head coach Dan Quinn addressed the media on Monday and gave an update on several injured players. Right tackle Ryan Schraeder is still in concussion protocol and there’s uncertainty whether he’ll play this week against the Lions. Linebacker Vic Beasley suffered a slight hamstring tear that will keep him out at least this week. Zach Klein of WSBTV is reporting that a source tells him that Beasley could be out a month. Hugh said it’s time for other guys to step up, and Takk McKinley is chomping at the bit.

The Falcons Week 3 opponent, the Detroit Lions, put it on the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. Eli Manning was sacked five times during the game. The defense looked legit. Giants coach Ben McAdoo called out his quarterback for the delay-of-game penalty. Was he wrong for calling him out?
