The Falcons are putting together the final touches of their game plan for the Packers on Sunday Night Football. With Aaron Rodgers’ ability to extend plays outside of the pocket, it’s going to be key for the defense to lock in and keep him contained.
For the Packers, there are three key players on the injury report in linebacker Ahmad Brooks (Concussion), left tackle David Bakhtiari (Hamstring) and right tackle Bryan Bulaga (Ankle/Illness). These could be positions for the Falcons to exploit if they’re out come Sunday.
Meanwhile, Thursday Night Football was a tough one to watch with both offenses struggling. Deshaun Watson was able to score one touchdown with his legs and get a win in his debut at quarterback. Hugh Douglas warns that behind that offensive line, he’s got to be a little more careful. You could see what Geno Atkins was able to do.
The Bengals offense was non-existent with Andy Dalton at the helm. He was overthrowing or completely missing receivers throughout the game.
