As one of the biggest hubs of Hispanic culture in the South, Atlanta offers plenty of opportunity to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in style. Whether you want to celebrate with food, drinks, or a festival, these five destinations are sure to make your Cinco de Mayo weekend a memorable one.

If you’re looking for a more upscale experience on Cinco de Mayo, look no further than Agave. Focusing on Southwestern and Tex-Mex cuisine, Agave puts a gourmet spin on Mexican restaurant favorites. Dishes like their Barbacoa & Chorizo Chile Taco and Spicy Tequila Anejo Shrimp will make you forget all about those chain restaurants. But the real sell of Agave is in the name, agave being the main ingredient in tequila. Agave features a tequila bar big enough to rival most restaurants’ wine lists, with options ranging from the reasonable to the more luxurious reserve options.
