Rick and John welcome Hawks SG Tim Hardaway Jr. talking leadership and Wizards.

Tim talked about the home crowd and how it was the best environment, he has played in as a Hawk. Tim told us there is a great deal of trash talking on the court between the two teams but considers it normal for the sport. Tim said Millsap and Morris are wolfing on the court but Millsap is letting his game do the talking for him. Tim mentioned that he let the game come to him after his slow start in game one and got some advice from Bazemore and Calderon.

Tim talked about starting vs coming off the bench and how it’s everyone’s goal to be a starter but ultimately it’s up to Coach Bud. Tim told us how they try to guard John Wall and make the game tough for him. Tim talked to us about how he keeps himself locked into the game with the help of his support group and the business will take care of itself in the offseason. Tim said the Hawks need to do a tremendous job, not turn over the ball, dive for loose balls and not let the refs dictate the game in Washington. Tim said they tried to feed the beats last night in Dwight Howard as he was locked into the game.
