Even though the Falcons were felled by the Seahawks the first time these two teams met back in Week 6, 26-24, Sportsbooks have listed them as the favorites heading into their divisional round rematch with Seattle.

The Falcons are currently five-point favorites over the NFC West-champion Seahawks and according to Bovada Sportsbook, the majority of the money from the betting public is coming in on the Falcons even though they’re laying five points.

Bovada Sportsbook states that roughly 65 percent of the money that has come in on the Falcons-Seahawks game has been placed on the Falcons.

While that sounds like a fair portion of bettors, it pales in comparison to the number of wagers coming in on the New England Patriots, who are getting 85 percent of the action even thought they’re giving the Texans 16 points.

The Patriots and the Falcons are the only favorites this weekend attracting the majority of wagers. The Pittsburgh Steelers — one-point underdogs on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs — have received 70 percent of the bets, while the Green Bay Packers — getting four points from the Cowboys — have gotten 75 percent of the public’s wagers.

The Seahawks-Falcons game is scheduled to kick off at 4:35 p.m. ET from the Georgia Dome and can be heard exclusively on 92.9 The Game.
