Hawks head coach Mike Budenholzer checked in with Rick and John.

Coming off a win over Orlando, and on a four-game winning streak, Coach Bud talked managing the current Hawks. He talked about they play of their defense and how they have become more aggressive on the ball.

Budenholzer told us how their play on defense carries over to the offense and helps facilitate the way they play. He mentioned that he thinks Tim Hardaway Jr. is in a good place and has shown that by the way he has played on the court. Coach Bud described to us how they manage all the rumors that are put out there by the media regarding trades and so forth, and said being on the road helps during times like these because you have a bunker mentality as a team and can band together as a group and block out the sound.

Budenholzer said their win against San Antonio in OT showed the resilience and toughness that the team needed to give it confidence. Coach Bud mentioned their game against New Orleans tonight and what they need to do to get the win.
