ATLANTA, GA- A DeKalb county judge denied a motion to dismiss felony murder charges against an ex DeKalb police officer Tuesday. Former DeKalb county officer Robert Olsen is charged in the shooting death of Anthony Hill. Hill a veteran of the Air Force was shot by Olsen back in March of 2015.
At that time, Olsen encountered Hill at a DeKalb county apartment complex in response to a disturbance call.
Olsen faced Hill who was naked at the time yelling and walking through the complex. According to prosecutors , Olsen shot Hill when he allegedly disregarded commands to stop and walked toward the officer. The ex officer has been charged with two counts of felony murder, aggravated assault, making false statements, and two counts of violation of oath of public office in connection with the shooting.
