The new agreement commences in 2017. Atlanta’s CW69 will continue to broadcast the Falcons preseason games and air two hours of weekly team programming during the regular season.

“This has been a terrific partnership and we’re thrilled we can continue to be the Atlanta Falcons’ official broadcast partner. As one of the top CW affiliates in the country, we’re committed to providing viewers with locally relevant programming and there is nothing more compelling than sports programming, particularly the NFL and our hometown Falcons,” said Tom Canedo, President and General Manager of Atlanta’s CW69. “We’re proud to be able to feature Falcons programming along with our strong line-up of shows like The Flash, Arrow and now, Supergirl.”

”The Falcons are pleased to continue our partnership with the CW69,” said Tim Zulawski, chief commercial officer, AMB Sports & Entertainment. “We’ve had great success with them as a broadcast partner and look forward to the next three years.”

In additional to locally broadcast pre-season games, CW69 currently produces and airs three Falcons programs:

During the regular season, “Inside The Locker Room” moves to a pre-game show format and its regular time slot at 11 a.m. on Sundays. Randy Waters, D.J. Shockley, Wes Durham and Dave Archer break down the upcoming game and take an in-depth look at the opponent.

“Falcons Playback” airs Monday nights at 6 p.m. and looks back at the previous day’s game with highlights, analysis and play breakdowns. Randy Waters and D.J. Shockley host and Melanie Snare has fan and social media reaction.
