According to Dr. Scott Boden with Emory Healthcare,the new practice facility for the Atlanta Hawks sparked from a social introduction at dinner with Hawks CEO Steve Koonin. Fast forward to the present, the ground-breaking ceremony for Emory Sports Medicine Complex has already happened and demolition on the 90,000 square foot facility is underway.

The site for the future Emory Sports Medicine Complex is in Brookhaven, GA. The new facility is scheduled to open it’s doors prior to the 2017-2018 season.
