Each week we’ll rank the SEC teams after the weekend performance and take a look at who they face next… Here we go for Week 5!
1- Alabama (4-0) Still the best, now it gets more interesting.
Next: Home vs Kentucky
2- Tennessee (4-0) The Vols are now a clear threat to win the conference. Could be two games ahead against Bama. They can all but clinch the East this week!
Next: at Georgia
3- Texas A&M (4-0) The Aggies have been impressive and might be the Tide’s biggest test.
Next: at South Carolina
4- Florida (3-1) Tough loss on the road. Still a very solid club. Back to back games in Tennessee. This one should be easier.
Next: at Vanderbilt.
5- Mississippi (2-2) If… the season is not lost yet. And yet another test this week.
Next: Home vs Memphis
6- Arkansas (3-1) The Hogs hit a pretty solid road block Saturday.
Next: Home vs Alcorn State
7- Auburn (2-2) They’ve played a tough schedule and played well. The ‘Fire Gus’ express has slowed.
Next: Home vs UL-Monroe
8- Georgia (3-1) Well…. Sorry, that’s all I got.
Next: Home vs Tennessee
9- LSU (2-2) Celebration to deflation. Tough way to lose a game. It got Les Miles fired. Now do they come to life under Ed Orgeron?
Next: Home vs Missouri
10- Mississippi State (2-2) That was not a pretty win against UMass.
Next: Oct 8 vs Auburn.
11- Missouri (2-2) 79-0. Delaware State or not that is the biggest rout of the season in all of FBS.
Next: at LSU
12- Kentucky (2-2) They beat the Gamecocks. Division wins aren’t easy to come by.
Next: at Alabama
13- South Carolina (2-2) The lack of any offense continues to be an issue in Columbia.
Next: Home vs Texas A&M
14- Vanderbilt (2-2) Someone has to be last. OT over Western Kentucky was a gut check win.
