Tonight marks the start of the regular season in the NFL with the Broncos and Panthers colliding at 8 PM on Sports Radio 92-9 The Game. The Falcons must wait until Sunday when they play Tampa, Julio Jones was limited in practice Wednesday and Dwight Freeney did not practice at all, but both are expected to play in Sunday’s season opener.
The Braves worked well past midnight Wednesday only to fall to the Nationals 5-4 in 11 innings despite a second straight game with a homer by Dansby Swanson. Stephen Strasburg left that game in the 3rd with an elbow problem, the Braves are off tonight.
