It’s a deal worth $30 million dollars. The owner of Turner Field, the Atlanta Fulton County Recreation Authority, has entered into a deal with Georgia State University and its development partners to purchase the 70-acre property. It was almost 3 years ago, that the Atlanta Braves announced that they would be leaving and heading up I-75 North to nearby Cobb County, where a new ballpark is currently under construction.
