The Hawks Wednesday spent a good deal of time introducing their highest-profile free agent signing in years with Dwight Howard officially becoming a member of the team on a three year deal. Hugh said “Adding Dwight will give some other guys opportunities to be outside shooters, but Dwight has to be the guy and that’s one of the reasons he came back home.” Howard will wear number eight on his jersey,  he says the new number reflects a fresh start.

This is the final day of SEC Media Days, where Nick Saban made headlines Wednesday by indicating that he’s unlikely to suspend tackle Cam Robinson.  He and a teammate were arrested in Louisiana on weapons charges those charges were dropped.
