D. Orlando Ledbetter of the AJC joined Mark Zinno on Tuesday to talk about Day 1 of Falcons minicamp. He says there wasn’t as much install as there was last year since this is the second year under head coach Dan Quinn. Ledbetter says Matt Ryan’s movement looks a little bit better, but it’s hard to tell the real improvements until the guys put on pads. As far as the running back position goes, D. Led agrees with Mark that Tevin Coleman will split the carries with Devonta Freeman, if he can stay healthy and hold onto the football. In looking at the rookies, Deion Jones looks great covering the middle of the line on the defense. Jones and De’Vondre Campbell sure look the part at this point.
