Savannah State Head Football Coach Erik Raeburn joined the show to talk about satellite camps, and the one he attended yesterday w/ Jim Harbaugh and Kirby Smart. Hugh asked Coach about how satellite camps help smaller schools, “It’s a huge advantage for a school like us when there are big programs, because it brings it more kids to work out and allows us to work out a lot more players then we would regularly get.”

Hugh asked Coach what exactly a satellite camp is “The best satellite camps are the ones where the Coaches not only evaluate the players, but work on actual football skills to help the kids at specific positions and drills.”

John asked Coach Raeburn if players can earn scholarships at these, Coach told us “I think so, one player impressed me at a position that he doesn’t even play, and I would not have known that if we had not had that camp.”
