The Braves were victims of a one hit shutout by the Giants Tuesday night and lost 4-0, managing just two base runners all evening.  Matt Wisler settled for the loss despite giving up just four hits in seven innings. Jake Peavy held the Braves to the minimum 21 batters in his seven innings of work and Tyler Flowers was the only Brave to reach base all night.  Tonight Williams Perez faces Albert Suarez

Tuesday night also brought another trade for the Braves.  Jason Grilli and cash are on the way to Toronto in exchange for minor league pitcher Sean Ratcliffe.  Grill had a 5-29 ERA and a 1 and 2 record this season. Hugh said “I thought what was funny is that he said they tried to find him a new home, like he was a puppy.”

The Falcons are in their second week of OTAs and today host free agent pass rusher Dwight Freeney in Flowery Branch, Freeney will not workout for the team. Hugh said “I don’t know exactly what their plan is, but I think Dwight still has something left in the tank.”  The 36 year old Freeney played eleven games for the Cardinals last season and had eight sacks.
