When talking on a radio show about Randall Cobb’s injury last season in the playoffs, Aaron Rodgers blamed technology. Rodgers said that when Cobb landed on his back that he landed on his mic pack which caused his lung to be punctured and that he isn’t a fan of the technology the league uses these days. Hugh said “One of the reasons the game has grown is due to the access that fans have these days, as far as this causing an injury, I just don’t know.”

Rodgers went on to say he doesn’t like to be mic’d up because it changes his authenticity and he has to change the things he says during games. Hugh said “That’s part of being mic’d up, is to hear what happens in the huddle, and when players are mic’d up most of what they say has to be edited so I don’t get that.”
