Braves return after not the most exciting road trip. Alex Wood had an impressive outing and Jace Peterson continues to become a fan favorite. Good news is that Perez is OK after his collision with Maybin. The Good Guys return home for a 6 game Home Stand that includes a big 4th of July party. Here is how you can get the best bang for your buck. (see what I did there?)

The MLB Ballpark App is free and basically your go to source for news surrounding the MLB and you can customize it for the Braves. It has the option for you to buy future game tickets and upgrade you seat at that days game. Plus you can “check in” from Turner Field and we (The Braves) give away good stuff every night. Tuesday nights check in could get you a David Justice AND Javy Lopez bobblehead or an Academy Sports and Outdoors Gift Card. Nice.
Wednesday, July 1 at 7:10 p.m.
No major events Wednesday, just good ol’ fashioned baseball. However – the MLB Ballpark App Check In gift awards a lucky fan 2 future game tickets and Academy Sports Gift Cards. Again, Nice.
Thursday, July 2 at 7:10 p.m.
This is the last day to vote to send your favorite Braves to the All Star Game. So vote away. Please. We need some representation at the Great American Ballpark. Vote at Braves.com/vote.
Plus – Thursday is another College Night!! The ticket package costs $20 and includes $10 worth of food/drink loaded up. PLUS – you will also have access to run the bases after the game. I saw this in person last week and it was not the drunken mess I assumed it would be. However – there were a lot of selfie sticks in use.

The 2015 Band of the Year Competition continues with the AJ Ghent Band performing in the Fan Plaza before the game. I don’t know who he/she/the band is, however they don’t pick scrubs to play before a game, so they will be pretty good.
Here’s the big one – Friday is Star Wars Night!! Fans that purchase a special ticket will get a Star Wars Bobblehead featuring Jason Grilli. This is NOT a gate giveaway. You must buy the special Star Wars Ticket to get the bobble head and its available at www.Braves.com/starwars.
This weekend is also Braves Foundation Weekend. The Hank Aaron Room (located across from Section 126) will be auctioning off a ton of cool braves gear with all proceeds going to the Braves Foundation Charities. So, think of this as a big Braves Yard Sale, but the stuff is much much better.
Saturday, July 4 at 7:15 p.m.
Americas Pastime Celebrating America! Braves will be honoring the Military throughout the game, Timothy Miller will be singing God Bless America and you better believe we have a HUGE Fireworks show after the game. Baseball, beer, fireworks. ‘Merica.
Sunday, July 5 at 1:35 p.m.
Sunday we wrap up Foundation Weekend with the Memorabilia Sale continuing in the Hank Aaron Room. Plus, its Sunday, which is Family day where kids can run the bases after the game. Sunday is also Alumni Day so you can chat with former Braves Todd Pratt and Paul Byrd before the game in the Plaza and get an autograph.
Hopefully the Braves can get things going in the right direction this weekend, but if not, at least there will be a lot of cool stuff going on at The Ted. Especially that dude on the Big Screen, hes rad.
