Tonight begins a quick 6 game home stand beginning with the Rays for 2 and the Brewers for 4.

Here are some of the events going on outside of the game at Turner Field:

Tuesday – Tuesday David DeSanctis, star of the new film “Where Hope Grows” will be in the right-field patio for a meet & greet before the game, and then will make the official “Play Ball” call to start the game. DeSanctis is the first person with Down Syndrome to star in a feature film.

Wednesday – This is for the Ladies! Its Javy Lopez Bobblehead night! The first 20,000 fans through the gates will receive a bobblehead featuring Braves legend Javy Lopez.  Plus there will be a public Q&A with Lopez in Fan Plaza from 6:15-6:30 p.m.

Thursday – (Game 1 vs the Brewers) Law Enforcement Night: The Braves will celebrate local law enforcement with a special pregame parade, and a portion of every ticket package sold will benefit the Georgia Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors.

Friday – Post game, win or lose – its Friday night Fireworks! 8 mins of booms in the sky and if you don’t love that, you don’t love America.

Saturday – Military Appreciation Day.  In honor of Memorial Day, the Braves will celebrate the men and women who serve in our nation’s military and remember those who have fallen while serving in our country’s armed forces. There will be a special pregame ceremony, a moment of silence, 21 gun salute and the recognition of a service member from each branch of the military.  Plus – following the game, the Braves players will sign their game worn jerseys and put them up for auction with proceeds benefiting military supportative charities.

PLUS Saturday night is MOVIE NIGHT! Post game there will be a free screening of The Sandlot on the big screen!!!

Sunday – Is Alumni Sunday. Before the game you can meet Marquis Grissom, Terry Harper and Vic Correll for autographs in Fan Plaza. After the game there will be a free post game concert featuring contemporary Christian artist Tenth Avenue North.
