Braves Legend Chipper Jones The Morning Show with Marc & Randy discuss John Smoltz being inducted the Hall of Fame on the first ballot.

“It wasn’t much of a surprise. 200 wins and 150 saves in a career, not to mention the post season accolades that Smoltzie racked up during the course of his career. He had the ruputation of being one of those Pedro Martinez, Curt Schilling, game seven gotta win one game pitchers”, said Jones when asked about his reaction to John Smoltz getting the Hall of Fame nod.

Chipper talked about joining the team with Smoltz already being on the team as a clubhouse leader. Chipper also told us that he likes what John Hart has done so far with trying to rebuild farm system, which he thinks can have impact in the very near future.
