My personal favorite, “He must be the bus driver cuz he was taking him to school!”

He was known as the hardest working man at ESPN and inspired his coworkers with his talent, work ethic and devotion to family.

Stuart’s speech at the ESPY’s, ESPN’s awards show, last year as he accepted the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance included these profound words. Scott said, “When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner you live.”

He leaves behind two daughters, Taelor, 16, and Sydni, 15. These girls were his world and we are praying for them in this time of loss.

Personally, Stuart Scott was the face and voice of SportsCenter for the better part of my adult sports watching life. It has been, different, without him as of late, and will be even more so now.

Boo-Yah, Stuart.
