Bob Ryan, retired columnist for the Boston Globe’s Sports section and regular panelist on ESPN’s Sunday morning roundtable, “The Sports Reporters.” joins The Morning Show with Marc & Randy to promote his new book Scribe: My life in Sports that comes out today.

Bob Ryan discusses reading L.A. writer Jim Murray growing up and wanting to become a writer. He also shared that he and Peter Gammons started at the Boston Globe the same day.

Ryan closed out the interview speaking on the Lakers/Celtics rivalry, the mystique of the Boston Garden, and comparisons between LeBron James, Magic Johnson, and Michael Jordan and who he feels is the best.
