Last season in his first year as head coach of the Clark Atlanta University Panther, Kevin Weston surprised the Morehouse faith with a victory on the Maroon Tigers home field but yesterday Coach Rich Freeman’s Morehouse team refused to lose versus their cross campus rivals.

Running back Malik Johnson subbing for Shelton Hamilton rushed for 104 yards and scored two touchdowns to help Morehouse regain AUC bragging rights with the 20-7 win over CAU.

Following the win Morehouse is now 4-1 on the season.

The 1-4 CAU Panthers host the College of Faith next Saturday at Panther Stadium.

CAU still leads the series vs Morehouse 50-39-2 dating back to 1905.
