New Orleans plays a main role in itself, offering an active background steeped in people and history that even cast member Lucas Black has to acknowledge.
“Yeah, when people are in New Orleans, they think of a good time. Everybody wants to come down there and visit. There’s plenty to do. There’s a festival every weekend. The culture down there and the good food, the people that live down there love their city,” Black says about filming in the historic city. “It’s got a darker side, everybody there knows it does. The show will be showing some of that as well, and for everybody to get to see both of that. You know, it’s kind of cool.”
The series stars Black as Special Agent Christopher LaSalle, Zoe McLellan as Special Agent Meredith “Merri” Brody, and CCH Pounder as Dr. Loretta Wade.READ MORE: What Taylor Swift tells grads at NYU commencement speech
