Atlanta Mission is the city’s largest and longest-running provider of services to homeless men, women and children. Established in 1938, Atlanta Mission provides emergency shelter, temporary shelter, recovery programming, job attainment and transitional housing for more than 950 men, women and children daily.

Our Atlanta volunteering organization always welcomes with open arms both volunteers and part-time and full-time workers. We appreciate however much time you have to spare. It is never too late to establish an active role in your community and help out those you may not have even realized needed your help.
There are a variety of areas of service at our Atlanta non-profit association in which you can volunteer your time. Whether you want to spend time with children or adults, you want to serve meals or sort through clothing and household items, there is always a place at which we can use you. No matter what you are looking to do, every extra pair of hands helps to even further increase the quality and level of the services we provide in our commitment to serving our communities.
