INDIANAPOLIS–The NCAA Division II Region Rankings were released on Monday evening and Tuskegee University was selected as the No. 5 team out of Super Region Two.
The Golden Tigers (7-1, 3-0 SIAC West Division) have won five consecutive games after suffering its only setback of the season in a loss against Winston-Salem State. A pair of South Atlantic Conference (SAC) teams, Lenoir-Rhyne (7-1) and Newberry College (7-1), are the top two teams out of the Region, ranked No. 1 and 2 respectively. Rounding out the top 10 are No. 6 North Alabama (5-2), No. 7 Carson Newman (7-1), No. 8 Delta State (5-2), No. 9 Valdosta State (5-2), and No. 10 Wingate (4-3).
Regional football rankings will be released each week until the end of the regular season on November 10th.
