Stewart Mandel, covers college football for SI.com, joined Overtime to talk about the SEC and the upcoming college football season. Mandel says Johnny Manziel is the first player to get the TMZ treatment from the media.
Mandel also talks about UGA and is unsure if they’ll make the title game in part because of their defense. He also says Mark Richt probably doesn’t get the credit he deserves for what he’s done with the program. There are no guarantees if the Bulldogs get a new coach that they won’t end up like Tennessee. He also discusses possible spoiler teams in the SEC this upcoming season.
