HAWKINSVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Fire investigators say a blaze has destroyed the home of a Pulaski County Superior Court judge.

Glen Allen, spokesman for state Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens, says a fire at the home of judge Sarah Wall Monday morning caused an estimated $300,000 in losses. Officials say the fire appears to have started in a stable next to Wall’s house and there were no reported injuries.

Hudgens says investigators have not determined the cause of the fire, and officials have not ruled out electrical or mechanical malfunctions.

Hudgens says investigators found no evidence that the fire was intentionally set.

Hawkinsville is about 50 miles south of Macon.
