ATLANTA (WAOKAJC)-The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating a salmonella outbreak that has touched 19 states so far, including Georgia.
More than 90 people, including four in Georgia, have gotten sick. 10 people have been hospitalized.
So far health officials are still trying to confirm the cause of the outbreak.
According to an FDA memo distributed Tuesday, the salmonella may be linked to sushi, specifically “highly suspect” spicy tuna rolls, the Associated Press reported.
Symptoms of salmonella illness include vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and fever.
