It turns out the rivalry between Kansas and Kansas State starts young.  KY3 News reports kindergarten student and Kansas State Wildcats fan Emma Burton became a local hero of sorts after she refused to color a picture of the University of Kansas’ Jayhawk mascot.

jayhawks1 The Sports Kings: A Real Fan... Even If Shes Only 5!Emma’s mom Julie explains that after her daughter crumpled up the picture and threw it in the trash, her teacher sent a note home explaining the situation.  Julie says they chose not to punish Emma, but instead found a compromise.

Emma colored a picture of the K-State “Powercat” logo along with a note apologizing for being rude, and then colored the Jayhawk the next day.

But it wasn’t all bad, as Emma and her family were invited to the Kansas-Kansas State game this past Monday.  The Wildcats ended up losing, but Emma still got to meet Kansas State Head Coach Frank Martin.

I have been browsing online more than three hours as of late, but I by no means discovered any interesting article like yours. It’s beautiful worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all web owners and bloggers made excellent content material as you probably did, the net might be much more helpful than ever before.

Its like you read my mind! You appear to grasp a lot approximately this, such as you wrote the e book in it or something. I think that you can do with a few % to power the message house a little bit, however other than that, that is great blog. An excellent read. I will definitely be back.
