FLOWERY BRANCH, GA – Atlanta Falcons running back Jason Snelling was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week after posting 186 total yards and three touchdowns against the Arizona Cardinals. The NFC Player of the Week honor is the first of his career.

Snelling carried a large part of the offensive load for the Falcons in their 41-7 win over the Cardinals in Week 2. He scored both rushing and receiving touchdowns while racking up 129 yards on 24 carries and 57 yards on five receptions.
