St. Patrick’s Day ranks right up there with New Year’s Eve when it comes to partying and bar patrons having fun. As we all know, sometimes it’s hard to cut through the clutter and find the right bar for our needs. St. Patrick’s Day is kind of a wildcard as you never know what you are getting. Here’s a look at some great choices for a night out on March 17 in Atlanta.

Argosy
470 Flat Shoals Ave.
Atlanta, GA 30316
(404) 577-0407

Argosy is a great option for St. Patrick’s Day. The East Atlanta Village is always hopping, so come out early for a wide selection of draft and bottled beer along with some great grub. Pizza, burgers, sandwiches and some specials will be on offer for St. Patrick’s Day. The staff is always helpful, there is plenty of space and it will be decorated perfectly for the holiday where everyone wears green.

Wrecking Bar
292 Moreland Ave. N.E.
Atlanta, GA 30307
(404) 221-2600

The setting at Wrecking Bar is a Victorian-style home from the 1900s, and you get to go in the cellar. The food is upscale pub food and the craft beer is fantastic. Expect a variety of beers to try and a lot of celebrating on St. Patrick’s Day. You don’t want to miss the “Jimmy Dean” Breakfast Stout on your next visit.

TAP
1180 Peachtree St. N.E.
Atlanta, GA 30309
(404) 347-2220
www.tapat1180.com

If you are looking to experience St. Patrick’s Day with an indoor/outdoor bar and eating place that welcomes all comers, you have TAP. Right in the heart of Midtown, TAP is where all of the St. Patrick’s Day partying begins and ends. Whether it be a pub crawl or some appetizers and drinks to cap your evening, TAP has a great drink selection and even some unusual menu items you can try to get your night off to a good start. Try the deviled duck eggs or maybe the oysters. Specials are planned for St, Patrick’s Day so check the website or stop on by for all of the fun.
