The Denver Broncos are one-and-done in the playoffs for the second time in three years. While it was a mostly successful season, the franchise missed out on their efforts to bring a third Vince Lombardi Trophy back to Dove Valley, prompting all kinds of questions in Broncos Country.
The Denver Broncos seemed unstoppable, even unbeatable at times during the 2013 season. But, when the Vince Lombardi Trophy was on the line, they were blown out by the Seattle Seahawks.
Defense wins championships, and the NFL has not seen a defense like Seattle’s in a long time.
What will matter most? The fact that Seattle has no players with Super Bowl experience, or their youth and speed and top-ranked defense? Or will the game be won by Denver’s suddenly stout rush defense and Peyton Manning’s blessed right arm?
