Every September, MLB rosters expand so minor-league players with potential can get a cup of coffee with the big-league team. No matter what the hype, avoid relying on these September call-ups to help your fantasy baseball team. Stick to the veteran players you know well and let the other owners in your league gamble on the rookies. You won’t regret it when the season ends with your team in first place. The other owners will be shaking their heads with regret for letting hype rule their decision-making processes.
