Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport
Police bomb and dog teams searched two planes at Atlanta’s main airport Saturday after authorities received what they descried as credible bomb threats.
Jorge Pajares claims he developed a blood clot while forced to sit on a flight from Peru to Atlanta.
Hartsfield-Jackson will be joined by New York’s JFK, Newark, Washington Dulles and Chicago in adding an extra layer of screening for passengers arriving from West Africa.
Enrolees will be able to wear shoes, keep laptops in bags during screening procedures.
The Transportation Security Administration says it is reviewing claims that a bomb-sniffing dog bit a woman at the Atlanta airport.
