Part pilgrimage, part road race, Peachtree is truly a tradition for many Atlantans. Whether this is your thousandth road race, your first competition or just a day’s diversion, the Peachtree Road Race is a must for any Atlantan. This year, the race anticipates 150,000 spectators, so pick your spot early for prime viewing real estate. Spectator spots vary from mile one the Buckhead shopping district to mile six where competitors reunite with their support teams. Camp out on Cardiac Hill to watch the racers really struggle, or enjoy art curve, but don’t miss this amazing annual display of Atlantan talent.
